Virginia I. "Ginny" Barket

Virginia I. "Ginny" Barket, 88 of Pottsville, formerly of Wallingford, CT died Friday October 30, at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation, Orwigsburg.

She was born January 31, 1938, a daughter of the late John A. Laura May Eisenhauer Kosick

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School.

Prior to retiring Ginny worked for the Wallingford Board of Education, Wallingford, CT.

Ginny was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, Quilting Club in Connecticut.

Ginny found special joy in quilting, which reflected patience, care, and creativity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony E. Barket, on January 15, 2014; and a brother, Michael Kosick;

Surviving are her sons Christian Barket and his wife Andera, Ashford, CT; Todd Barket, FL; 2 grandchildren, Brook and Hunter Zeman; 2 great-grandchildren, Mateo and Mylo; siblings, Sandra Kaylan, John Kosick, both of Pottsville; Michelle Lodish, Lebanon; nieces and nephews.

Service of Remembrance will be held 10:30AM, Saturday, November 14th at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of services. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Ginny be made to St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
