Randy G. Fehr, 61 of Land O'Lakes FL, formerly of Orwigsburg, died suddenly Tuesday Jan 6 at home.
He was born July 2, 1964, in Pottsville a son of the late Arthur R. and Janet Glore Fehr.
He was a 1982 graduate of Pottsville Area High School and MTA Trucking Academy.
Randy was employed by the former Wholesale Distributor, Pottsville; Argo Mills, Haven; and D.G. Yuengling and Son's Brewery in both Pottsville and Tampa, Fl. He worked at Yuengling Brewery for 28 years until his retirement in 2022.
Randy was a member of Good Intent Fire Company, Pottsville; and The Moose Lodge #1903 Land O Lakes.
Randy was not only a committed employee but also a passionate musician and writer. His love for music was evident as he played the drums for multiple bands throughout his life. He was active in local bands and a part of the Blind Pigeon Records music collective family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Fehr, 2006, his father Art R. in 2009 and his Mother Janet in 2021.
Randy is survived by his wife Suzanne Flanigan Fehr, whom he met at the St. Patrick's Day party held by the former Humane Fire Company in 1987 and married on December 11, 1989;They just celebrated 36 years together; their 2 daughters, Lydia Fehr Hannigan, and her husband Brian, Limerick; Erika Fehr, Pottsville; granddaughter, Rosemary Hannigan. a brother Dennis Fehr and his wife Debbie, Pottsville; sister-in-law Kelly Fehr. Mother-in-law, Kathryn Flanigan; brother-in-law, James Flanigan, sister-in-law Katie and John Fiske; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Loving husband, father, son, brother, pappy, and friend; Randy impacted many lives with his humor, friendliness and was always the "life of the party." His wife Suzie was his best friend, and they went on countless adventures together. He will be missed by many.
Journey of life celebrating Randy will be held 11AM Saturday, January 24th at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Friedensburg. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Randy be made to Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
