Kelcey L. Marler

Kelcey Lynn Marler, 26 of Murrieta, CA formerly of Pottsville, died January 17th.

She was born May 31, 1995 in Pottsville a daughter of Scott and Paula McGuire Marler, Pottsville.

Kelcey was a 2013 graduate of Pottsville Area High School where she excelled in Girls Soccer, she attended Penn State Schuylkill, and graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

While living in California she worked as a nanny.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emily J. and John V. "Mickey" McGuire.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two sisters, Sarah and Shana Marler both of Pottsville; 2 nephews, Braeden Marler, Christian Bennett; a niece, Kylie Marler; paternal grandparents, Wayne Marler, Rock Hill, SC; Linda Cresswell Powhatan, VA; aunts, uncles, cousins. 

A memorial gathering for family and friends will held Tuesday March 1st from 5-7PM at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Kelcey be made to Kelcey Lynn Marler Soccer Scholarship Fund C/O Howard S. Fernsler Academic Center 1501 Laurel Blvd. Pottsville, PA 17901.
