Dianne L. Clarkson

Dianne L. Clarkson, 65 of Pottsville, died peacefully on Monday, December 1, at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

She was born November 25, 1960, in Pottsville a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Bernice M. Tassone Clarkson.

Dianne was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

An avid bingo player, Dianne found great pleasure in the excitement and camaraderie that the game fostered. She often shared her love for playing bingo with friends and neighbors, forging lasting bonds over shared victories and friendly competition. In addition to her love for bingo, Dianne had a fondness for watching game shows. Dianne will be remembered for her vibrant spirit.

Dianne was also a devoted participant in the rosary at Queen of Peace Apartments, reflecting her strong sense of faith and dedication with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Clarkson.

Surviving are her brother, Joseph G. Clarkson and his wife Jean, Seltzer, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, December 8, from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10AM until the time of services. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrance in the form of contributions in memory of Dianne be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
