Albert Burns, Jr.

Albert Burns, Jr., 67 of Pottsville, died Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East.

He was born November 3, 1954 in Philadelphia, a son of Dorothy Slavin Burns, Cape May, NJ., and the late Albert Burns, Sr.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Philadelphia. 

Prior to retiring he was a tugboat operator.

Throughout his life Albert was a huge train enthusiasts. He enjoyed steam engines and collecting Lionel trains and many other model trains.

Surviving are a son, Robert Burns, Tom Rivers, NJ; a daughter Christine Johnston, Red Bank, NJ; his companion Mary Ann Gaumer, Pottsville; a brother, Robert Burns, Lake Wallenpaupack; a sister, Tricia Kellog, Philadelphia.

Services are at the convenience of the family.
