John Wysco

John Wysco, 81, of Pottsville died Monday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. He was born July 21, 1928 in Heckscherville son of the late John and Ann Lacken Wysco. He attended Cass Township Schools and served in the Merchant Marine for 18 years. He was employed by Exxon Chemical for 35 years prior to retiring. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Minersville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela J. Johnson: a brother, Michael: 3 sisters, Susan Sucidlo, Ann Wonn and Veronica Wysco. Surviving are his wife, the former Dolores Ryan, to whom he was married for 31 years: a son, Gary Comfort and his wife Margaret; a daughter, Janice Chaney both of Pottsville: a sister, Margaret Donahue, Berlin, New Jersey: 7 grandchildren: 2 great grandchildren: nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr. officiating. James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
