Robin L. Hochgertel

Robin L. Hochgertel, RN, BSN, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, died October 2 at home. She was born February 23, 1956 in Pottsville daughter of the late James and Joanne Rose Hochgertel. Robin was a graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing, Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Georgetown University with a Degree in Radiology. She was the manager of Interventional Radiology at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. Robin was a member of Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens, a Director of Ferrets First and various other organizations for animal rescue. She was preceded in death by a step-sister, Linda Marberger and an uncle, John W. "Jack" Hochgertel, Sr. Surviving are cousins, John W. Hochgertel, Jr., Holly Lubinsky, her husband Albert and their children, Tyler and Jordyn: an aunt, Leona Hochgertel: an uncle and aunt, Jim and Dolores Rose, their children, Jim and Pam. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Resurrection at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville with Rev. Darcy M. Reis officiating. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to PA Ferret Rescue, 33 Holly Circle, State College, PA 16801, Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St., Pottsville, PA 17901 or Hillside SPCA, Inc, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will in at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.
