Gordon M. Biehl, Jr.

Gordon M. Biehl, Jr., 72, of Pottsville, died Thursday surrounded by family and friends at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St. He was born June 1, 1941 in Pottsville son of the late Gordon M. Sr. and Louise I. Pacine Biehl. He attended Pottsville High School and was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Gordon was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and Tuscarora R.C. Flying Club. Surviving are his cousin, with whom he resided, Sandra Mirabella and her husband, Joseph; and many cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Pottsville Area Soup Kitchen, C/O St. Patrick Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901 or Hillside S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.
