Nancy J. Heffner

Nancy J. Heffner, 85, a resident of Luther Ridge, Pottsville formerly of Patterson Apts., Pottsville, died Wednesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St. She was born May 21, 1928 in Pottsville daughter of the late Emmanuel and Caroline Coleman Heffner. She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was employed by the former Bell Telephone and the Schuylkill County Court House prior to retiring. Nancy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville and its Circle 5 group. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Ned, Jay and Robert. Surviving are nieces and & nephews. Graveside Services will be held Monday at 1:00 P.M. from Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr. officiating. The family would prefer remembrance in form of contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901 James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
