William R. "Wyatt" Schreader

William R. "Wyatt" Schreader, 85 of Pottsville died Friday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St. He was born February 26, 1930 in Pottsville son of the late August and Margery Falls Schreader. He was a 1948 graduate of Pottsville High School and was employed by the former AMP Inc, Tower City, prior to retiring. He was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War where he was a radio operator on a KC-97 re-fueling plane. Bill was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Joan Burgess in 2004: a brother George Schreader; A sister, Vivian Rebuck. Surviving are two sons, Mark Schreader, Palo Alto, and Eric Schreader, Cressona: a granddaughter, Sabrina Schreader: Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville with the Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr., officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment with military honors will be held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
