Lawrence G. "Larry" Williams

  Lawrence G. “Larry” Williams, 66 of Pottsville, died Tuesday, Dec 12, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East.   He was born July 19, 1951 in Pottsville son of the late Joseph and Blanche Rice Williams.   He was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and McCann School of Business.   Prior to retiring he employed by SAPA Industrial Excursion, Cressona.   Larry was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, Rainbow Hose Co and Liberty Fire Co. both of Schuylkill Haven.   Throughout his life, Larry enjoyed fishing and watching his favorite football team the Oakland Raiders.   He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Williams and a step-son Edward Williams. Surviving are his wife Loretta L. Williams, Pottsville; a daughter Nicole Williams, Jacksonville, FL; a son Michael Williams, Pottsville; 2 step-sons, Darnell Williams, Reading and Craig Boykins, Orwigsburg. 7 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Franky Williams, Jacksonville, FL; a nephew Josh Williams, Pottsville:   Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday at 11AM from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Deacon John E. Quirk officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of services.
